Dawud Wharnsby the Canadian singer songwriter and his American colleague Idris Philips will under take a One World Tour as part of Islam awareness Week. They will visit six cities in the UK playing at 36 events as they take the message of: Our Children, Our Future to thousands of young people and their communities.

Brief Intro Dawud Wharnsby
A Canadian singer, songwriter and musician. In 2003, he recorded the popular album, Prophet’s Hands, featuring producer and peace activist Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens). In recent years Dawud has been seen regularly on tour in Canada and the United Kingdom with world-beat percussion ensemble, The Fletcher Valve Drummers. Wharnsby heads the independent music label Enter Into Peace and as a respected musical performer and social activist, he travels extensively throughout the world to perform and to lecture at schools and universities with his inspirational talks.

Brief Intro Idris Phillips
A talented guitarist, pianist, writer and producer, Idris Phillips began playing classical guitar before the age of 10. These days he resides in Los Angeles where he records for film and television.The compositions of Idris Phillips are mosaics - colours of sound placed together with care, craft and attention to detail. His use of Asian and Middle Eastern rhythms set against jazz, folk, and R&B arrangements, ensures his material holds a universal appeal. Inspiration for Idris’ work come from life experiences on the road, relationships, and more recently from his study of Islamic spirituality.

In 2006 Dawud & Idris began touring regularly as a duo. They have just completed their first album together entitled 'Out Seeing The Fields' - with more collaborative and solo work already in production.
